Business Analytics is the next big thing in business. Today, unprecedented data is being generated daily, thanks to credit cards, social networks, stock market transactions, e-commerce etc. Analysing this massive data is an opportunity for businesses to affect their bottom line directly. Big Data has also been termed as the new oil. Over the next three years, India’s analytics space is all set to expand by 5 times to become a billion dollar industry, creating new enterprises and employment for the Indian youth. Sky is the limit, but to grab the global opportunities, it’s important to be skilled in the right areas.

Objectives of the course

This course will prepare fresh engineering graduates for a career in Business Analytics. The student will gain proficiency in Excel and SAS tools. Student will be able to use these tools in conjunction with database access techniques to handle data efficiently. Students will get an overview of advanced topics in analytics such as Hadoop, CHAID and CART. Industry oriented curriculum and content will rightly orient the student towards a blooming career as Data Scientists. Eligibility

BE/B Tech 2011 or 2012 with at least 60% marks in graduation, 10th and 12th. The student must have strong numerical ability.
