Competency based Curriculum NSQF Level 3 (Class 11)

 

Paper – 1: Electrical Wiring

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course of this level, students will be able to:

  • Make students familiar with shop discipline, layout of electrical shop, safety
  • Acquire knowledge and skills about safety precautions while
  • Acquire knowledge about function and use of various electrical tools, equipments and
  • Acquire with properties and uses of different materials (conducting, insulating, wiring etc).
  • Know about electrical symbols of commonly used electrical
  • Develop knowledge about the
  • Get introduced to electrical shop to classify different tools machines and
  • Acquire skills for wiring
  • Do any type of wiring such as house
  • Get knowledge about estimation, costing and billing of wiring

Course Structure: This course (vocational qualification package) is a planned sequence of instructions consisting of the following modules, called as Units.

Paper – 2: Electrical Domestic Appliances

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Acquire knowledge and skills about safety precautions while
  • Acquire knowledge about function and use of various electrical tools, equipments and
  • Know about electrical symbols commonly used electrical
  • Get introduced to electrical shop to classify different tools machines and
  • Create an awareness about all electrical domestic appliances
  • Develop technician skills in the field of Dismantling, Servicing, Overhauling, Maintenance, testing and reassembling of electrical appliances
  • Acquire the skill in sales and marketing of the latest domestic appliances, equipment, spare parts and raw materials
