Course description: With the demand of Computer Skills in the job market today, we have designed our Computer Literacy Skills Program keeping in mind the intricacies of the MS Office package
- MS Word:
- Opening, creating and saving files
- Getting document information: lines, words etc.
- Moving and replacing text, Search and Replace
- Applying formatting
- Adding a table, Creating and deleting rows and columns etc.
- Printing and Protecting documents
- MS Excel:
- Fundamentals of Excel
- Formatting in Excel: Cut, Cut, Copy, Paste Special etc.
- Merging of cells, Alignments, Cell Values, borders and Shading
- Creating and Editing formulas, functions etc.
- The Auto Options
- Protecting Sheets
- Working with Charts
- MS PowerPoint:
- Exploring the PowerPoint environment
- Creating, Saving new presentations
- Using the different styling Tools available
- Adding speaker notes and footers
- Exporting to other formats and using web delivery

Subsequent to course completion: You will be able to:
- Use the Fundamentals of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Work on Microsoft Word with great ease and carry out simple document tasks.
- Understanding and using some of the built in calculation and formula functionality
- Spreadsheets that you create will be easier to use and look more presentable.
- Work with the basics of PowerPoint
- Feel more confident using PowerPoint and be able to create a presentation from scratch
- Make modifications to your presentation before it is used in a live presentation.
- Attend the LCLI301 Program which focuses on Level 2 aspects.
