Laqsh Software Testing Training course Graduation ceremony for the batch 2011-2012 was held on 23rd April 2012 in the IIIT-B Auditorium. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Sadagopan, Director of IIIT-B by lighting the lamp. Ms. Revathi Kasturi, CEO of Laqsh, Dr. Sharada Iyer Dutta and couple of students also lit the lamp.

Prof. Sadagopan, in his speech, said that he considered all the students from LAQSH lucky as they represent the bright future of India and he sees it with high hopes. He appealed to the students with the words “Look at what you are leaving behind – an India that is equal to or much better than the India you were born into.” He also described the pivotal role IT is playing in India bridging the gap of Indian developing economy with the developed economy of west.
Prof. Sadagopan also recommended the students to read Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s book India 2020 – A Vision for the New Millennium. He insisted that it is equally important to dream of a developed country along with the dream of becoming a software coder or developer. He urged all the students to vow to themselves to make a difference in making India a global economic power.
Prof. Sadagopan distributed to Laqsh-IIIT-B Software Testing Course Certificates to all the successful students.
Prof. R Chandrasekhar and Mr. AN Ramachandra, Registrar of IIIT-B, also attended the event.
End of his speech he congratulated all the students and assured that the doors of IIIT-B will always be open to for them all their life.
Ms. Revathi Kasturi later addressed the students wishing them the very best for their future and that they should be model ambassadors to IIIT-B and Laqsh. Mr. Vanamamalai Kannan presented the valedictory speech.
