Tabarak Alam Invests his Multi faceted skills to get return
It was in the year 2019-20 that one boy namely Tabark Alam enrolled in class 9th in Govt. Hr. Sec. School Fatehpur and took up the IT/ITES as a vocational Subject. He came from a very humble background. His father was daily laborer and mothers a housewife but this boy had dreams in his eyes. With good communication skills and fine in studies, he wanted to achieve something in life and was hopeful of bringing his family out of poverty. He was always fascinated by machines and technologies.
He used to roam in the computer labs accompanying the school electrician and expressing his keenness to learn about the machinery. His hidden talent was recognized by his Vocational trainer Naseem Akhter who then encouraged him to improve on these skills. He was good in studies. Thanks to his curiosity and interest he was always sought after whenever a machines, wiring, inverter and solar panel to repair. On the back of these skills when he completed his class 10th from Govt. Hr. Sec. School Fatehpur he approached a local motor garage (Mahindra Astro Motor Garage Ahtti) to take up the work as a Data entry operator and Technician. There were many others who had also applied for the job but Tabark Alam’s exposure and skills helped him to grab the opportunity and start a new life. Now, he has a job in hand with monthly salary of Rs 10000(7500 basic and incentives upto 3000) and this workshop is nearly 3 kms far away from his home and is a walking distance for him. He has an aim to start his own workshop where he wants to setup sales as well as service counter for Automobiles. He is supporting his family and other siblings are banking on him. He has good reputation at the garage and is known for his fine technical skill and knowledge of computer. He is currently working as data entry operator and senior mechanic at the garage and hopeful of making a good name in motor mechanics in the area.
Sabrina Rafiq: Sees herself as a Web Developer
This story is about Sabrina Rafiq. She has recently qualified her class 12th annual examination with a distinction while scoring 90/100 marks in IT/ITeS. She has ever been so keen and interested towards IT and computer and her hard work has always guided her to great success despite the fact that she lives in a hard zone with level 4. During the 11th and 12th classes she was trained by VT Muzamil Ahmad in different software’s and in 2022 (during 12th class) she was working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
In the mean time a mini project was assigned to her and she had to develop a small and simple website for the school, during their course work. Very fortunately it proved beneficial for four students and Sabrina is one of them. While Sabrina was assigned to develop the staff profile webpage. She did it really very well and the trainer was amazed by her skills to analyze the requirements and to collect the related information from the office and every staff member. After analyses and data collection she did well with the development as well. We hope she will get better and greater chances to do different software or website development projects. Her understanding of the project and analyzing of data and developmental needs at the very first project showed that she has got a long way to go. Her thirst towards IT can be felt by her step of not leaving school ‘IT GROUP’ even after passing the class 12th exam. Now she has a desire to study further in the field of information technology and is preparing for CUET exams to get selected for computer applications courses. Hope she will do wonders in future and this first step of success will have its impression when she will be flying high in the sky.
Sachiv Sambyal: Learner to Trainer
Mr. Sachiv Sambyal who has achieved great success after studying vocational subject IT/ITES from Trainer Rahul Gupta (2021-22). Mr. Sachiv learned various technical and soft skills from VT of Higher Secondary school Teryath, one such skill he is using is MS OFFICE.
He is working as associate trainer cum office assistant at Verma computer and skill institute Teryath under National Urban Rural computer literacy Mission . This institute is in Reasi which is more than 70 Kms from his home. He is also continuing his further studies but he has taken a rental accommodation which is within 1 km range from his office. He is teaching MS WORD, EXCEL, MS ACCESS, online form and internet to the students of computer institute. Moreover he is assisting in office work of institute such as letter drafting, Data entry in MIS, identity card making and online portal work etc. and earning 4000 per month out of his part time job. The head trainer highly values his services. Mr. Sachiv thus has became self-dependent, he fulfills his financial needs himself which also includes his college expenses and all credit goes to the Vocational training program which trained him to such an extent that they can earn their livelihood in today’s competition. Sachiv wants to pursue engineering in computer science/IT as he is highly motivated in IT subject by his trainer. This remarkable achievement of MR. Sachiv Sambyal is a testament to the transformative.
The Success Story is about student Rehan Ahmed who has achieved great success after studying vocational subject IT/ITES from Trainer Waseem Ahad . He has learnt hands on skill on various tools from VT Waseem Ahad. Some of the tools he is proficient in are Ms Word, Ms Excel, PHOTOSHOP. Rehan is working as freelancer and his earning is based on the number of hours he works. He is providing services to the local shopkeepers. One such shopkeeper is Mr. Amin Ahmad where Rehan Ahmad is working as a freelancer and is making passport size photos in that shop for different customers and is earning a good amount in the form of commission out of this part time job . Mr Amin Ahmad also appreciates his work and is happy with his services .
