Finding the right job after graduation is often one of the biggest challenges for students. In partnership with UNICEF, Laqsh Foundation provides a comprehensive Skill Development Program that includes 10 hours of online learning and 40 hours of offline training. The program equips students with essential workplace and employability skills, and upon successful completion, they receive a certificate recognizing their achievement and preparing them for their careers.
Building on this foundation, Laqsh Foundation organized a series of placement drives across Bangalore, connecting degree students with leading employers and helping them secure meaningful career opportunities.
The placement drive held on 28th April 2026 at RC College, Bangalore, where more than 200 students participated. With 19+ companies conducting recruitment, 104 students were successfully placed. The event provided students from diverse academic backgrounds with the opportunity to interact directly with recruiters and begin their professional journey.
Next placement drive was held on 5th May 2026 at GFG College, Peenya, Bangalore. More than 150 students participated, with over 15 companies offering opportunities across different industries. The drive resulted in 94 students securing placements, including 40 male and 54 female candidates.
Continuing its commitment to supporting young graduates, Laqsh Foundation organized another successful placement drive on 18th May 2026 at Vishwa Chethana Degree College, Anekal, Bangalore. The event attracted over 180 students, with 88 students being shortlisted for various roles. Among them, 17 were male and 71 were female. These students are expected to receive their offer letters and join their respective organizations after completing their examinations in July.
Each placement drive brought together leading companies from different industries, giving students the opportunity to start their careers after completing their studies. Students from B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, Arts, Commerce, and Science backgrounds, including final-year students and recent graduates, took part in the recruitment process.
To help students become job-ready, Laqsh Job Skills Academy and Laqsh Foundation provided skill development training before every placement drive. This ensured students gained the skills employers look for and were better prepared for interviews and jobs.
The success of these placement drives was made possible through the support of college management, trainers, placement coordinators, industry partners, and UNICEF. Across all three drives, over 530 students participated, and around 332 students were successfully placed. These results reflect the shared commitment to creating better career opportunities for young people through training, industry partnerships, and placement support.
